If you are running a business or want to see business grow for the company you work at, you need to know where the attention is of your consumer. This goes for B2B (business to business), or B2C (business to consumer) companies.
Right now in 2016, that consumer is online, on social media, and probably on their phone. Online video is growing at a rapid rate, in 2015 video made up 57% of all consumer internet traffic, and this will grow to 79% by 2018. Online video isn’t only growing, it is influencing and impacting decisions. It is impacting support for your brand, and guiding consumers in their purchase intent.
Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and your own website are all places where video is becoming the chosen medium. In order to utilize these platforms correctly you need to use a medium that works natively with in them.
According to Forbes, more than 80% of Senior Executives said they are watching more online video today, than they were a year ago. Also, 65% of them have visited a vendor’s website after watching a video. With the workforce, and executives aging downward you will see more and more decision makers engaging with video, giving you a better chance of having that decision maker choose you over a competitor.
